Title I Overview

is a part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA). This act  provides federal funds through the Georgia Department of Education to local education agencies (LEAs) and public schools. The purpose of Title I is to ensure that all children have the opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach proficiency on challenging state academic standards and assessments.

School Supply List

All students must have a clear or mesh book bag- rolling bags are allowed.
If you want a separate bag for gym clothes, that too must be clear or mesh.
All students in grades 6-8 must have:

  • 2” inch 3-ring binder with pockets, any color
  • Pencils (#2) – replenish daily and pencil erasers
  • Colored pencils
  • Colored Markers
  • 1 pair of blunt-tip scissors
  • 2 packs of 3-by-5 inch index cards
  • 2 highlighters in different colors
  • Small hand-held pencil sharpener with shavings container
  • Glue sticks
  • Notebook paper (college ruled, as needed)
  • Thumb drives (Required for storing student work)
  • Pencil and pen pouch/holder
  • Personal tissue – replenish throughout the year
  • Personal hand sanitizer – replenish throughout the year
  • 4 black-and-white composition book
